The Chattahoochee Gold Swim Club north of Atlanta has broken the National Age Group Record in the girls’ 13-14 800 free relay at the ESSZ Age Group Championships at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta.

The first session of the meet kicked off tonight and Gold took the record in the very first event. The team of Jaclyn Hill, Caroline Aikins, Bayley Frierson and Emma Cole was a second faster than NCAP, the previous record-holders, were in 2013 – 7:26.91 to 7:28.00. Splits were as follows:

Jaclyn Hill 1:51.21

Caroline Aikins 1:51.17

Bayley Frierson 1:52.64

Emma Cole 1:51.89

Unbelievable swim. Unfortunate that only one of these four is swimming the individual 200 tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what else these girls have in store though!
