PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown women’s swimming and diving (3-3) returned to the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center and dominated, collecting 12 victories in Saturday’s 216.5-83.5 victory over Bryant (5-1).
SUMMARY OF TOP THREE FINISHES
The day began with Brown earning the top three spots in the 200 medley relay as the ‘A’ team of Nadia Thomas, Angelina Chen, Lily Klinginsmith, and Morgan Lukinac finished in 1:43.41. The ‘B’ team of Emilia Barck, Amie Barrow, Eva McIver-Jenkins, and Audrey Chung followed in second, and the ‘C’ team of Crystal Yuen, Kaitlyn Holmes, Hannah Ahn, and Gianna Miller placed third.
Natalie Garre won the 1000 free with a time of 10:03.71, and Sumner Chmielewski placed second in the event.
Kelly Dolce and Lily Robinson finished first and second, respectively, in the 200 free. Thomas placed second, and Brooke Manning was third in the 100 backstroke. Chen (1:03.84) and Holmes went 1-2 in the 100 breaststroke.
McIver-Jenkins and Beatrice Stewart finished second and third in the 200-meter butterfly. Chung won the 50 free with a time of 23.34, and Lukinac placed second in the event.
The dive events began with Elena Yeh (317.78) winning the 3-meter dive, followed by Isabella George (302.40) and Chloe Wong (283.35).
Lukinac (50.65) added another 100 freestyle victory, and Isabella Dieffenthaller (50.95) and Dolce (51.35) placed second and third in the event. Garre (2:01.50), Barck (2:02.58), and Thomas (2:03.36) made up the top three finishers in the 200 backstroke. Holmes won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:20.95, and Martyna Kaps placed third.
Yuen earned her second 500 free win of the season (first came vs. Yale), finishing in 4:59.97. Stewart and Amelia Hines finished second and third, respectively. Klinginsmith and McIver-Jenkins were second and third in the 100 butterfly.
Yeh’s second win came in the 1-meter dive with a score of 299.70. Bowie Krawczyk followed at 294.60. Barck and Manning placed second and third in the 200 IM.
The Bears capped the day with all three relay teams scoring in the 400 free relay. Yuen, Dieffenthaller, Dolce, and Lukinac comprised the ‘A’ team, Robinson, Chun, Lizzy Washburn, and McIver-Jenkins made up the ‘B’ team, and Dana Li, Garre, Ahn, and Gianna Miller made up the ‘C’ squad.

Brown turns the calendar to 2026 and returns to Ivy League competition on Jan. 17 when the Bears host Columbia at noon. The conference duel against the Lions will be Senior Day for the women’s swimming and diving program.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Brown men’s swimming and diving team (2-3, 1-3 Ivy) defeated Bryant (2-4, 0-0 AEC) on Saturday, 208-87, at the Katherine Coleman Aquatics Center. The Bears collected 14 top finishes.
Summary of Top-Three Finishes
- The 200 ‘A’ medley relay team of Marton Nagy, Max Moore, Donavan Jeng, and Jonathan Gim earned the top spot with a time of 1:30.73.
- Caden Blamer, Jake Regenwetter, Tucker Peterson, and Finn Quested placed second in the 200 medley relay (1:31.67).
- Will Cicco won the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:34.88.
- Max Hardart placed second in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:37.66.
- Christian Duetoft won the 500 freestyle (4:34.13) and placed second in the 200 freestyle (1:42.83).
- Jeng won two events, the 50 freestyle (20.51) and 100 butterfly (49.57).
- In the 1-meter and 3-meter dive events, Rowland Lawver collected top performances (360.08 and 380.03, respectively). Matteo Vasiliadis finished second (336.98 and 358.80), and Marcel Mateos Salles placed third (299.25 and 318.98).
- Christopher Chang won the 200 freestyle (1:38.37) and was third in the 1000 freestyle (9:38.95).
- Christopher Zhang won the 100 freestyle (44.58).
- Nagy collected another win, this time in the 100 backstroke (50.55).
- Moore placed first in the 100 breaststroke (55.24).
- Jack Maron won the 200 backstroke (1:51.32).
- Regenwetter secured first in the 200 breaststroke (2:04.16) and second in the 200 butterfly (1:49.95). The 200 butterfly winner was Matthew Purcell (1:49.38).
- Matt Williamson placed second in the 500 freestyle (4:35.07) and third in the 200 butterfly (1:54.13).
- Quested placed second in the 200 backstroke (1:52.67).
- Gim placed second in the 50 freestyle (20.63) and 100 freestyle (46.54).
- Steven Ma finished third in the 200 breaststroke (2:06.41).
- Erik Nadecki finished third in the 100 breaststroke (57.62) and 500 freestyle (4:40.65).
- Peterson placed third in the 100 backstroke (51.72) and 100 butterfly (50.96).
UP NEXT
The Bears will resume conference play on Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. when they visit Blodgett Pool to take on Harvard. The Ivy League contest will be streamed on ESPN+.

PROVIDENCE, RI – Junior Amanda Witkus stole the spotlight for the Bulldogs on Saturday, delivering multiple event wins as Bryant competed in its final meet of the calendar year at Brown.
Witkus delivered a huge day, earning first place in three events:
• 200 Butterfly – 1:59.61
• 100 Butterfly – 55.15
• 200 IM – 2:04.44
- Clara Steen continued her strong season with a win in the 100 Backstroke.
- Makayla Pearce earned a 3rd-place finish in the 1000 Free.
- Marcella Figueroa tied for 3rd in the 50 Free.
The Black and Gold fell to Brown, 83.5-216.5.
With the fall portion of the schedule complete, the Bulldogs will now shift their focus to winter training. Bryant will not return to competition until January, giving the men and women plenty of time to reset for the new year.
- Aidan Trenery led the way with a big victory in the 200 IM, adding strong swims with 2nd place in the 100 Breast and 2nd in the 200 Breast.
- Tim Andrews powered through and secured 2nd in the 100 Butterfly.
- James Misto grabbed a 3rd-place finish in the 50 Freestyle.
- Zach Proulx turned in an impressive 2nd place in the 100 Backstroke and a 3rd in the 200 Back.
- Misto and Andrews, along with Calix Hammett and Arthur Newton railed off the afternoon with a first-place swim in the 400 relay. Teammates Aiden Acuna-Rosa, Valentin Honsberger, Kaeden Gleason and Trenery followed behind in second.
Brown defeated the Bulldogs, 87-208.
