Bolinske, Erf Earn Summit League Weekly Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – South Dakota State’s Ben Bolinske was named Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Week while teammate Kristin Erf earned Women’s Swimmer of the Week award for their performances during the week of Nov. 9-15.

BEN BOLINSKE, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
Sr. // Williston, N.D.

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season and second time in his career
  • Claimed individual victories in the 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle
  • Swam the lead leg of the winning 400-meter freestyle relay that set a pool record (3:30.68) 
  • Aided SDSU’s men’s victory at rival South Dakota, 169-131

Previous honorees: Oct. 13 – Hunter Padgett, South Dakota; Oct. 20 – Wyatt Rumrill, South Dakota State; Oct. 27 – Ray Bornman, Denver; Nov. 3 – Lennart Kuester, IUPUI; Nov. 10 – Dylan Bunch, Denver.

  • Collected her first career Summit League Swimmer of the Week honor
  • The sophomore took home two individual victories (100-meter Breast, 200-meter Breast) at rival South Dakota
  • Swam leg of winning 200-meter medley relay
  • Finished third in the 200-meter individual medley
