Binghamton Bearcats Train and Race in Ft. Lauderdale (VIDEO)

The Binghamton University swimming & diving team traveled south from New York to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida for their annual winter training trip earlier this month. Senior Bridget Johanson documented the trip in the video below, including some great bubble rings at the 3:01 mark of the video.

While on the trip, the team raced at the FIU Invitational, where the men finished 2nd out of 8 teams and the women placed 3rd out of 10 teams. After returning, they swam Marist College (the women won the meet, the men lost 209.5-90.5). They raced again on Sunday for a dual meet against St. Bonaventure University (both teams lost by wide margins).

For the men, that meet marked the conclusion of their regular season – they’ll settle in for another month to prepare for the America East Championships from February 15th-18th in Worcester. The women will have one more dual meet against New Hampshire.
