Best Of The Rest Ranked Recruit Summer Mudadu Commits To Texas A&M For 2027

Summer Mudadu from Las Vegas, Nevada has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at Texas A&M beginning in fall 2027. Mudadu is a “Best of the Rest” ranked recruit in the girls high school class of 2027.

Mudadu swims for Sandpipers of Nevada and finished her long course season at NCSAs in July. There she finished 2nd in the 1500 free in a lifetime best 17:10.79. She also was 2nd in the 800 free in a best time 9:00.83.

She began her junior year this fall at Faith Lutheran High School. This past May, she swam to two NIAA 3A state titles as she touched in a 1:50.95 in the 200 free and a 4:56.64 in the 500 free.

Mudadu’s Best SCY Times Are:

• 200 free: 1:50.55
• 500 free: 4:49.16
• 1000 free: 9:54.07
• 1650 free: 17:23.31
• 200 fly: 2:03.66

The Texas A&M women finished 8th out of 13 teams at the 2025 SEC Championships under head coach Blaire Anderson who was hired during the 2024 offseason. The Aggie women went on to finish 26th at 2025 NCAAs with 22 points, all of which came from relays.

Based on her best times, Mudadu is not far off scoring at the conference level already and she still has two years before she arrives in College Station. It took a 4:44.88 in the 500 free and a 1:46.68 in the 200 free to earn a 2nd swim at SECs.

Mudadu will arrive in fall 2027 as a member of the class of 2031 along with Emma Liebler. Liebler who is primarily a butterflyer is also a “Best of the Rest” ranked recruit in the class so the Aggies have kicked off their class strong.
