Anna Peplowski Likes Freestyle to Backstroke Doubles

Indiana’s Anna Peplowski popped a surprise 1:58.0 to win the 200 free in Westmont, a huge best time for the Hoosier. Peplowski is coming off a 6th place finish at the NCAAs in that event just a few weeks earlier. Peplowski wasn’t done for the session, however, as she won the B-final of the 50 back, clocking the only sub-29 time in the heat. She said she actually enjoyed swimming freestyle-to-backstroke doubles, training for the 200 free-100 back double during the NCAA season.
