  2. Gretchen Walsh — 23.91 (2025)
  3. Simone Manuel — 23.97 (2017)

  9. Anna Moesch — 24.27 (2026)
  10. Erika Brown — 24.38 (2022)

Moesch entered the meet with a lifetime best 24.59 that had her tied as the #18 fastest American all-time. With her swim tonight, Moesch now sits as the 2nd fastest American so far this season, only behind Virginia training partner Kate Douglass who swam a 24.20 back in December at the US Open.

Moesch was 10th in the 50 free with a 24.92 at 2025 US Summer Nationals. Her time from today would have finished 4th. The 20 year old went on to finish 6th in the 100 free at 2025 US Summer Nationals to punch her ticket to the 2025 World Championships where she swam on the U.S. Women’s 4×100 and 4×200 free relays.

She is not a member of the U.S. roster for the 2026 Pan Pac Championships that will take place later this summer.

Moesch had a strong relay split to conclude the session in London, splitting a 52.30 flying start 100 free.

Where are Anna and Liberty going to swim for their big summer taper meet? US Nationals? Both are going to have several top times in the world without swimming Euros, Comm Games or Pan Pacs. At least they will have each other to race.

During ACCs and NCAAs you could see that she had the ability to have a monster LCM season with the negative-splitting and her speed on top of the water. Unlike a lot of the Virginia women, her turns and underwaters weren’t the difference.

I think Anna could swim a great 400 free!
hope she tries one this summer or a 500 in the fall

I’m sure it would be solid. She did a 500 at a dual meet – I think she was mid 4:40s. But with Gormsen and Mintenko, etc – they don’t need her in the 4. It’s clear her sweetspot is 100/200 – and if you’re trying to decide whether to go up or down… well 24.2 LCM suggests she goes down to the 50
