The 2026 China Swimming Open is nearly upon us, with action kicking off tomorrow, Thursday, March 19th from Shenzhen.
We are expecting high-octane racing over the course of the four-day competition, as most of the domestic national team is set to take on elite talent traveling from the United States, Australia, the Netherlands, South Africa and beyond. We’ve listed swimmers at the bottom of this post.
Athletes are vying not only for bragging rights and, for Asian swimmers, a potential bid at this year’s Asian Games but there is also cash on the line.
Prize Money
- 1st – $10,000
- 2nd – $6,000
- 3rd – $4,000
In terms of results, we know that they will be loaded on the ‘V Swim’ app, which is not available in the United States. However, using a VPN, most swim fans can follow along with the action via the link below, provided by Chinese Swim Fans on the social media platform ‘X’.

Lani Pallister 8:19.09
Yang Peiqi 8:19.53
No sub 8.10 for Lani?
Almost no sub 8:20
So did Zidi just casually drop another second in the 2 fly
i think if there were a worlds this summer this would be the year she becomes a multi-event medalist. by next year there might be some golds in the mix
Not with McIntosh
I don’t know why this is getting downvoted. Yu Zidi’s best events are 2fly, 2IM, and 4IM where Summer is the best in the world by quite some margin. Realistically, she could medal in each of her primary events by next summer.
She’s still looking for her fourth event.. I’m thinking it’ll be the 200 or 400 free but this meet she’ll be swimming the 200 back and 200 breast, which will be interesting
Thank you. I don’t think she will beat Summer even in LA28, let alone next year
Yu zidi defeats regan smith!
Women’s 200 Fly Final
Yu Zidi 2:05.71 PB
Regan Smith 2:06.28
Chang Mohan 2:07.16 PB
At this rate she’s gonna break the WJR before she turns 14 in October
Chengyue Zhang(Born in 2012) won the Men’s 200Fly B final in 2:00.60. He is probably still only 13.
Men’s 200 Fly Final

Hope there’ll be splits on the screen for the 800

Tang Qianting 29.44 Asian Record
Yang Chang 30.64
Kaylene Corbett 31.59
Alex Walsh 31.62
