#1 Ranked Diving Recruit Ivor Brown Flips Commitment To Tennessee, Hannah Smith To Join Vols

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

The top ranked diving recruit in the boys high school class of 2026 Ivor Brown has flipped his commitment from Auburn to Tennessee. Also committing to Tennessee is Hannah Smith from Australia.

Brown will join the men’s program this upcoming fall after growing up in Chantilly, Virginia and competing for Dominion Dive Club. Brown had committed to Auburn in the fall of his junior year but will now join the Vols instead. Brown recently won the synchronized 3-meter event and finished 2nd in the 1-meter at the 2025 USA Junior National Championships.

Brown is not the only top recruit in the high school class of 2026 to flip their commitment as Isabel Baley, the top recruit in the girls side of the class, flipped her commitment from Texas to Tennessee this fall.

Tennessee notably had a coaching change this offseason, with Jane Figueiredo being hired last April as the program’s next diving coach after Dave Parrington retired. Figueiredo most recently spent time with Aquatics GB, where she coached Tom Daley to Olympic gold.

Australia’s Hannah Smith has also announced her commitment to dive for Tennessee as she will join the women’s program this upcoming fall. Smith is a member of Australia’s Senior National Team and was 2nd in the 10-meter synchronized platform event and 6th in the individual 10-meter platform events at the 2025 Australia Open Diving Championships.

Tennessee brings in loaded classes on both the men’s and women’s sides for 2026. The mean’s class features Whitaker Steward, Drew Eubanks, Miles Blackson-Dunbar, Ivor Brown, Abduljabar Adama, Kauã Pereira, and Mantas Kauspedas.

The women’s class features Charlotte Crush, Molly Sweeney, Eliza Wallace, Mia Buff, Isabel Baley, Hannah Smith, Leah Tigert, Luisa Fragoiero Arco, Madison Kryger, and Matea Gigovic. Crush is most notably the #1 ranked recruit on the swimming side for the girls high school class of 2026.

HaHaHoHoHeHe the VOL MACHINE is rolling, gaining momentum and will soon be steam rolling the SEC.
What a brilliant get for both the MAN VOLS and LADY VOLS!
Coaches Jane Figueiredo and Mike “If loving you is wrong I don’t want to be” Wright are showing they are the diving coaches of the present and future.
Predict the Lady Vols win the NCAA TEAM TITLE in 2028.
