Three-time Olympic Champion Sarah Sjöström has joined the cast of the Swedish Reality series Stjärnorna På Slottet (The Stars at the Castle), with her episode reportedly scheduled to air on January 24th (per IMDb).
Stjärnorna På Slottet is a popular reality show in which five Swedish celebrities live in a castle together for a five-day period. Each episode is dedicated to a celebrity, who participates in activities they plan, orchestrates meals with the other stars, and answers questions about both their professional and personal lives.
The show has been running on the SVT channel since 2006. In 2008, the show won the Kristallen (the official Swedish television award) for “Entertainment show of the year”.
Sjöström joins the show with singer Lotta Engberg, television presenter Lasse Kronér, musician E-Type, and actor and director Johan Hedenberg.
Sjöström did not compete in 2025, but still had a very eventful year. In August, Sjöström and her husband Johan de Jong Skierus welcomed their son, Adrian, in an eventful pregnancy, leading Sjöström to deliver the newborn in the back of the ambulance in a hospital driveway in Södersjukhuset.
Just over a month later, Sjöström was back in the water, returning to training on her journey to qualify for a 6th Olympic Games.
In early November, Sjöström made headlines when she openly said she had unfollowed all athletes who had moved to the Enhanced Games. Later that same month, Sjöström posed for Sweden’s National Portrait Gallery as she was chosen for the 2025 Portrait of Honour.
Sjöström’s career is among the most decorated in the sport, with three Olympic gold medals, 20 world championship titles, and 29 European championship titles, dating back to 2008.

Johan is her husband, not partner.
