PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women’s swimming and diving team improved to 1–1–1 on the season with a 194–94 win over Seton Hall on Saturday at the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
Drexel collected 12 first-place finishes on the day, including sweeps in the 400 medley relay, 1000 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 free and 200 breast. Freshman Lada Volkov delivered a standout performance on the boards, sweeping both the 1-meter and 3-meter events in her collegiate dual-meet debut. Drexel also received event wins from Mari Alencar in the 50 and 100 free, Megan Ehrnfeldt in the 200 fly, Sidney Stolle in the 200 back, and Harper Barrowman in the 500 free.

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men’s swimming and diving team improved to 2–0 on the season with a 195–95 win over Seton Hall on Saturday at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons picked up 12 event victories and swept multiple races, including the 100 back, 200 fly and 400 medley relay.
Drexel put together a massive day in the DAC with seven pool recrods highlighted by four from Sebastian Smith and three from Theo Andreopoulos. Andreopoulos set new marks in the 100 back and 200 back, and helped lead the 400 medley relay to a pool record with Mark Eszes, Sebastian Smith and Petar Pavalic. Smith added individual records in the 50 free, 100 fly and 100 free, while freshman Matas Cinga broke the pool record in the 200 free.

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – In the final dual meet of the fall, Seton Hall women’s swimming and diving fell to Drexel, 175-68, inside the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
Diving
On the boards, it was a breakout day for freshman Daphne Powell. Powell collected second-place finishes on both the one and three-meter boards, logging scores of 205.28 and 216.00, respectively.
Two other Pirates joined her on the podium. Senior Amy Kugelman joined Powell on the three-meter podium in third place with a score of 212.03. On the one-meter podium, Sarah Behrman secured third place with a score of 193.43.
Swimming
In a down meet for the Pirates, the team still put up plenty of podium performances. The most notable performance today came from Lindsay Naber. The freshman secured overall victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.94, in addition to her second-place finish in the 200 back with a 2:08.51.
Another standout from today was Hannah Pronk. The German secured second place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:11.42, as well as points-paying finishes in the 100 butterfly (1:00.75) and 200 IM (2:15.69).
Among other results, Zeynep Aysoy found herself on the 500 freestyle podium with a time of 5:17.80. In addition to Aysoy, Naima Hazell earned a podium finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.28.

The Pirates will look to close out the first half of their season at the Bucknell Fall Invitational from Nov. 21-23. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. each day, while finals will begin at 6 p.m.
PHILADELPHIA, PA. – In the Pirates’ final dual meet of the fall, Seton Hall men’s swimming and diving fell to Drexel, 195-105, inside Daskalakis Athletic Center.
Diving
To close out the fall meet schedule, Nick Graham continued his undefeated run in dual meets. Graham won both boards handily, topping the one-meter and three-meter with scores of 310.65 and 339.60, respectively.
Aside from Graham, the Pirates’ freshman split podium duties. Henry Summers finished second on the one-meter with a mark of 250.13. Mason Case, meanwhile, secured third on the three-meter with a score of 237.68.
Swimming
In the opening individual event of the meet, freshman Zach McLeod and senior Jack Callan claimed a 1-2 finish to open the meet. McLeod topped the times with a mark of 9:41.13, while Callan registered a time of 9:45.13.
The Pirates’ lone other win in the pool came by way of Kevin Cary in the 200 IM. The senior secured victory in the event with a time of 1:53.41, nearly two seconds clear of his competition. He also added second-place finishes in both the 100 (45.16) and 200 (1:38.94) freestyles.
The Pirates added a few additional results of interest in the back half of the meet. Toma Adam finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.00. In a rare occurrence, Michael Klimaszewski finished second in the 100 butterfly with a time of 49.31.
