Billings Central was once again the centerpiece of the Montana AB state swim meet.
The boys and girls programs swept the titles for a fifth straight year, with the girls team actually winning its sixth straight championship.
GIRLS’ RECAP
Billing Central swept the relays, clocking a 1:58.54 in the 200 medley relay, a time of 1:46.37 in the 200 freestyle relay and a time of 3:52.34 in the 400 freestyle relay.
The individual standouts were Billings Central senior Kelly Early, junior Teaghan Vaira and freshman Vanessa Sheridan.
Early won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:00.83 and the 100 freestyle in a time of 54.90. Vaira won the 200 IM in a time of 2:22.73 and the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:02.89.
Sheridan won the 100 butterfly in a time of 58.73 and the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:10.35.
Other individual winners were:
- East Helena sophomore Sway Longshore won the 50 freestyle in a time of 25.49.
- C Falls freshman Catherine Opaka won the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:12.06.

BOYS’ RECAP
Four swimmers each won two individual events. Billings Central sophomore Bennett Seitz won the 200 freestyle (1:46.03) and the 100 freestyle (47.52).
Billings Central senior Dylan Shelton won the 200 individual medley (2:00.83) and the 500 freestyle (5:18.30).
Poison High junior Teague McElwee won the 100 butterfly (51.27) and the 100 backstroke (54.32).
Billings Central senior Daniel G Apostol won the 50 freestyle (21.40) and the 100 breaststroke (59.68).
Billings Central won the 200 medley relay (1:41.20) and 200 freestyle relay (1:29.74), while Bozeman won the 400 free relay (3:16.58).
