In her first combined dual meet as a Florida Gator, Izzy Ivey placed 3rd in both the 100 and 200 free and contributed on UF’s 200 medley and 400 free relays. After the meet, the NCAA All-American admitted it was a learning day for her, having to readjust not only to the NCAA but also to how Florida’s dual meet prep differed, including lifting right before competition.

She is in a Masters in Management program at UF. Her ISF was at Cal. I highly doubt her classes are “entry level”.

Seems like she’s enjoying her time at UF, but as a 5th year, it’s kind of odd to me that she mentions two classes that are pretty entry level. I understand her major is “Interdisciplinary Studies”, but come on.

Shes been so close so many times to having a LC 200 free breakthrough. I think I have seen her on pace to break 1:58 like 10 times, but she just DIES on the last 50. Hope Nesty can help her maintain her speed, and get her a spot on team USA next year.
