Missouri redshirt sophomore Neil O’Halloran has transferred to Louisville for his final three years of eligibility.
O’Halloran, when signed by the Tigers, was an extremely highly-rated recruit, but after sitting out the 2012-2013 season has wound up at Louisville for next season with three years of eligibility expected to be remaining.
O’Halloran is a 47.3/1:45.9 butterflier who in 2012, as a freshman, was 2nd in the Big 12 in the 100 yard fly. He will be a huge favorite to win the first AAC Championship in both events, as both defending conference champions (Kourosh Ahani from Pitt and Jonathan Williamson from Notre Dame) swim for teams that will compete in the ACC next season. would be pitted against them at the 2015 Championships, when Louisville joins them.
More importantly, even with some very good competition from incoming freshmen Josh Quallen and David Boland, he will probably assume the role of the butterflier on Louisville’s medley relay; last year, at NCAA’s, that relay finished 18th with a 48.1 split from junior Albert Lloyd. Even without improvement, O’Halloran’s addition makes this a B-Final relay at least.
O’Halloran has swum many races in Kentucky over the last year, indicating that he’s already been training with the program. He is originally from Portland, Oregon.

Neil arrived at Louisville during the 2012-2013 season. Albert Lloyd is no longer swimming for Louisville.
Also looks like Andrea D’Arrigo got a release from UVA . I would guess he is going to Florida based on the gator logo on his blog
