Swimming From Home: TAC Titans Talk Tether, Open Water Training

  0 Coleman Hodges | May 07th, 2020

We are all trying to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic as best we can. Staying at home and not socializing is not an easy task for anyone, and keeping a swimmer out of the pool is equally antagonizing. Therefore, SwimSwam is starting the Swimming From Home Talk Show, where host Coleman Hodges speaks with the swimming community about how they’re coping with our current goggle-less reality.

I was joined by TAC Titans Lance Norris, Charlotte Hook, and Claire Curzan as well as coaches Bruce Marchionda and John Payne to discuss how they’re spending their time during the pandemic. From the sounds of it, the club itself is keeping extremely busy, with dryland and yoga workouts being sent regularly as well as maintenance to the facility and staff reading becoming part of the routine.

Each swimmer had a bit of a different situation, but Charlotte and Lance talked about their experiences of open water swimming in nearby lakes while Claire broke down why she had enjoyed tether training.
