High School (Cary Academy)

Hook won the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association Division I state title in the 100 fly (54.75) and was the runnerup in the 200 IM (2:06.17) in February 2019.

In March 2019, Hook won the 200 fly (1:53.70), 200 IM (1:54.79), 200 free (1:46.63) and 400 IM (4:07.42) at the Speedo Champions Series in Greensboro, North Carolina.

She also won the 200 fly title (1:55.67) at the Speedo Winter Junior Championships East in December 2018 and was a finalist in the 200 IM (4th, 1:57.22), 400 IM (5th, 4:11.00) and 200 back (6th, 1:57.03).

In July 2018, Hook was a six time champion at the North Carolina Long Course Age Group Championships, winning the 200 fly (2:11.55), 100 back (1:02.23), 200 back (2:15.36), 100 breast (1:14.91), 400 IM (4:50.07) and 200 IM (2:15.85).

National/International Competition

2019 National Championships (Palo Alto, California)

Hook swam a lifetime-best 2:07.87 winning the B-final at the National Championships, finishing nearly two seconds ahead of the next fastest swimmer in her heat. Her time ranked sixth among U.S. women’s swimmers in 2018-19.

2019 World Junior Championships (Budapest, Hungary)

Hook earned a bronze medal in the 200 fly (2:09.00), finishing behind fellow American Lillie Nordmann (2:08.24) and Hungarian Blanka Berecz (2:08.93).
