Shwan Ahn from Duluth, Georgia has committed to Georgetown University for 2020-21. He is a distance freestyle specialist with Summer Juniors standards in the 1650 free and Winter Juniors cuts in the 500/1000 free. That said, he is quite versatile and swam IM and breaststroke in high school. Ahn graduated from Peachtree Ridge High School in 2019. He came in 5th in the 100 breast (58.01) and 5th in the 200 IM (1:52.06) at the 2019 GHSA 6-7A State Championship.
Ahn does his club swimming with SwimAtlanta. During the 2018-19 season, he improved his PBs in the SCY 200 free, 200 back, 100/200 breast, 200 fly, and 200/400 IM, as well as the LCM 100/200 breast, 200 fly, and 200 IM.
