Ainsley Everett, a current senior at The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas, has announced her commitment to swim for the University of Richmond. Everett will join University of Richmond’s class of 2024.
This season at the 2019 Sectionals, Everett placed 1st in the 200 butterfly (2:20.45 LCM) and 2nd in both the 100 butterfly (1:03.90 LCM) and the 400 IM (5:03.35 LCM).
Everett, who swims for The Woodlands Swim Team club, will be joining the UR Spiders under Coach Matt Barany beginning fall 2020.

This year, UR’s women’s team earned the NCAA Public Recognition Award for APR success and Richmond swimmer Hannah Gouger qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:02.39 LCM.
With some of her current best times, Everett would have made a few finals performances at the Atlantic 10 Championships this season. Most notably, Everett would have placed 8th in the 200 IM with her current best time of 2:03.89.
