Texas UIL 6A Champion Victoria Hunt Verbally Commits to Cincinnati

Victoria Hunt, who hails from Conroe, Texas, has made a verbal commitment to the University of Cincinnati for 2017-18.

“Beyond blessed to announce my verbal commitment to continue my education and swimming career at the University of Cincinnati! I’d like to send a HUGE thank you to all my family, friends, and coaches who helped me get to this point! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for the next chapter of my life! Super excited to be a Bearcat!”

Hunt attends the Academy of Science and Technology at The Woodlands College Park High School. She is the reigning Texas UIL 6A state champion in the 100 breast, having won the event at the state meet last February by .06 with 1:03.91.

Hunt is team captain of both her high school team and her club tea, The Woodlands Swim Team. She holds the school record in the 100 breast, and club team records in 15-16 100/200 breast. This summer at the ISCA Summer Seniors Championships in Florida, she was a finalist in the 50/100/200 breaststrokes.

A two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All American, her best SCY times are:

  • 50 breast – 30.31
  • 100 breast – 1:03.88
  • 200 breast – 2:17.41
  • 50 fly – 26.44
  • 100 fly – 57.49
  • 200 IM – 2:11.10

Hunt will join Kelley Reis, who also verbally committed to the University of Cincinnati class of 2021.
