San Jose State Building Momentum (VIDEO HIGHLIGHT)

Colleen Humel, an All-Conference sophomore swimmer at San Jose State University, has put together a video commemorating her team’s 2015-2016 season. On the year, the Spartans finished 6th out of 10 teams at the Mountain West Conference Championships, and went 6-3 in dual meets.

“I wanted to create a video that helped to display the amazing team chemistry we have as well as bringing light to the physical toughness and work ethic that being a Spartan is all about,” Hummel said of her vision for the montage. “We had one of the best seasons in team history this year going nearly 90% best times at the Mountain West Conference Championships. We are a program that is constantly being overlooked, so being able to show to everyone what this team is all about and what it means to me is very important and special.”

Fantastic program! Beautiful school, amazing dorms, impressive coaches, team that places a lot of emphasis on building each other up, emphasis on hard work, proper form in the weight room and pool, and academics…special place.
