RedHawks Travel to Bowling Green

OXFORD, Ohio – Opening conference play back up again in 2016, the Miami University women’s swimming and diving team jumps back in the pool to face Bowling Green on Friday, Jan. 22 at 3 p.m. in Cooper Pool.

The RedHawks will be heading back to Bowling Green at the end of February to compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships.

Miami is coming off a strong 178-118 win over Cincinnati last Wednesday, which boosted their dual meet record to 4-3.

Senior Sara Krueger had a strong meet, leading the RedHawks to two 1-2-3 finishes. Her efforts warranted her the second MAC Swimmer of the Week award of her season and career.

Junior Stephanie LeMire finished in first in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard breaststroke, while fellow junior Pei Lin won both the three- and one-meter dives.

The Falcons are 3-1 in dual meets, only losing to Michigan State. They most recently competed in the Zippy Invitational, hosted by Akron, where they finished third out of eight teams.
