Video: Island Swimming Athletes Tape Head Coach To Wall

Ever wanted to tape your coach to a wall in the middle of a practice or competition? That’s exactly what Island Swimming got to do with head coach Ben Keast.

In the time-lapse video above you can see as the swimmers and parents continue adding tape to Keast, who by the end of it is stuck to the wall before pushing himself free of all the tape.

The event which Island Swimming has called “tape-stravaganza” happened during an Island Swimming time trial.

Island Swimming operates in Victoria, BC. and has produced several high profile swimmers in the past including multi-time world championship medallist and Canadian record holder Ryan Cochrane.

The club has sent a swimmer to every Olympic Games since 1984.
