Colgate Head Coach Andy Waeger (on meet)

“We were very pleased with the team’s overall performance this weekend. We had a lot of fantastic swims throughout our lineup this weekend and I am so incredibly proud of their effort.

“We went into this meet with a purpose and we came out having reached our goal. We wanted to put ourselves in the best position to get great meet times and prepare for February and that’s exactly what we did.

“We’re going to enjoy the holiday break next week and then we’re going to come back and have the opportunity to train for the entire month of December before focusing on the second half of our season.

“Three of our five freshmen records broken this weekend were done so by the men, which was awesome. The 800 free relay record they broke was set by our current senior class during their rookie season, so there were come bragging rights at stake there.”
