Alexander Hardwick

Alex Hardwick, affectionately referred to as Hardwick, is one of the most competitive yet fun people you will ever come across. He was the head coach of a summer swim club (Bower Hill), leading them to their first four league titles and to a 24-2 duel meet record from 2011-2014. He was also the captain of his high school swim team his junior and senior year. Alex finished second at the 2014 Chemistry Olympics and was a two-time Dean’s List honoree. He wants to go to the business school at Emory and study Finance.

2014-2015

Alex Hardwick came into Emory as a first class sprinter. He first made his mark at the Miami Invite, where he came in 11th in the 50 freestyle and 6th in the 100 backstroke and 100 freestyle. At the 2015 UAA Championships, Hardwick placed 6th in the 100 freestyle and 2nd in the 100 back. At 2015 DIII Nationals, Hardwick earned a best time in the 100 backstroke(50.71) and anchored the 400 Medley Relay, which placed 2nd, in a 44.47.
