Michigan, Notre Dame, Southern Illinois and Ohio State all added NCAA qualifiers on the second day of the Zone C Championships. With both springboard events out of the way, the men and women will both compete on the platform for the final invitations to the respective NCAA Championship meets.
The big news from Day 3 is that the Purdue men finished first and second on the 3m board, beating the defending NCAA Champion from Indiana, Michael Hixon. Hixon was named the NCAA Diver of the meet at the 2014 NCAA Championships as a diver for the Texas Longhorns.
Freshman Steele Johnson won the 3 meter event for the Boilermakers. He has been training with Purdue Post-Grad and Olympic Champion, David Boudia.

Not sure if a ND diver made it or not but Alex Chan doesn’t attend Notre Dame … I believe he attends EMU. Joe Coumos would be ND’s diver if he made it.
