Swim Star Maya DiRado to Participate in Blake’s Miracle Festival

U.S. National Teamer Maya DiRado (Santa Rosa, Calif.) will take part in the 10th annual Blake’s Miracle Festival at SWIMkids USA beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday in Mesa, Arizona.

Blake’s Miracle Festival is a Swim-A-Thon that helps raise money for Blake’s Miracle Foundation. The proceeds from the fundraiser go towards drowning-prevention efforts and Alternative Pediatric Pain Management therapies at Cardon Children’s Medical Center.

“I’m so honored to be a part of this special event,” said DiRado, a gold medalist at the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships. “Drowning prevention is critical and I’m excited to help children through Blake’s Miracle Foundation.”

During DiRado’s appearance, she will be signing autographs, taking photos and distributing awards. Other event activities include a silent auction, business expo, train rides, cake walk, bounce house, face painting and a raffle. For more information about the event, visit blakesmiracle.org.
