Abby Stauffer has signed a letter of intent to attend Duquesne University next season. Abby is from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where she swims for both the Chambersburg Area Senior High School Trojans, and her club team, the Chambersburg YMCA Chargers.

Abby is a YMCA All-American and a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American. In 2014, she finished fourth in the 200 IM at the PIAA AAA State Championships.

Her best times over the last two years are:

200y IM 2:03.59 200m IM 2:21.48
400y IM 4:28.38 400m IM 5:06.65

Stauffer is a versatile swimmer who should be able to develop in whichever direction Duquesne has the most need. In addition to her individual events, Stauffer has a personal best free relay split of 23.52, so she has potential to add value to the Dukes’ relays, as well.
