Emma Fouke Swims 1:09.68 100 Breast On Night 2 Of NCSAs, #7 13-14 All-Time

Highlighting night two of NCSAs was Emma Fouke who dropped over two seconds in the 100 breast to win in a 1:09.68. That moves her all the way up to the #7 13-14 girl all-time. Fouke entered the day with a lifetime best 1:11.72 that she swam last month at the Pro Series stop in Indianapolis. That had her sitting at #77 in the age group all-time. With her time today, she now sits ahead of names such as Alex Walsh (#11, 1:09.98), Kate Douglass (t-#21, 1:10.43), and Lydia Jacoby (#23, 1:10.45).

Meghan Bluethmann swam to a new lifetime best to win the 200 free in a 2:02.01. She entered with a lifetime best 2:03.95 from just four weeks ago. She swam a 2:05.03 at this meet a year ago and is committed to Notre Dame for 2027.

Stanford commit for this fall and Best of the Rest ranked recruit KC Braeger touched first in the 200 fly with a 2:13.98, dropping two and a half seconds off her lifetime best 2:16.46 she swam for 2nd at this meet a year ago.

The boys side of the night was highlighted by Danny Saunders as he touched in a 1:02.72 to win the 100 breast. Saunders dropped over three seconds off his best time of a 1:05.89 from last summer.

Grant Fleming won the 100 back in a 55.93. He entered the meet as the #7 seed with a lifetime best 57.50 that he swam for 11th at this meet last year.

The boys 400 IM came down to the touch as Alexander Ivascu won in a 4:24.14 just ahead of Justin Shi‘s 4:24.83. Ivascu trailed Shi with a 50 to go but charged to the wall for the win, dropping eight seconds off his lifetime best. Shi dropped almost four seconds.
