UniUSA, the governing body for FISU/World University Games sport in the United States, has named a 44 swimmer roster for the upcoming 2026 FISU America Games.
The meet will be held from July 24-26 at the Videna Aquatic Center in Lima, Peru and will host teams from across the Western Hemisphere.
The team was chosen from a pool of around 150 applicants who were self-nominated for consideration.
Among the swimmers on the roster is Alec Enyeart, who raced at the World University Games last year. He finished 7th in the 400 free there.
Both the men’s and women’s teams each include members who raced at the 2026 NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships.
Women’s NCAA Qualifiers – 2026
- Emily Lundgren (Washington State) — 100 Breast (27th) and 200 Breast (15th, All‑America HM)

- Kayman Neal (Arizona) — 200 Back and 200 Free (individual)

The 2026 Games are the fourth edition of the event that launched in 2018 and has been held every two years (outside of COVID).
Brazil led the medals table in swimming at the 2024 edition in Cali, Colombia, though the United States finished 2nd thanks in part to the efforts of Joe Hayburn and Lily Mead, both of whom swam for Loyola Maryland. That team was led by Loyola MD head coach Brian Loeffler.
The 2026 team will similarly be well-represented by the Florida Gulf Coast team that Dave Rollins, the coach of Team USA, leads in Fort Myers. Izzy Ackley, a 2025 NCAA Championship qualifier, and Aislyn Barnett, an ASUN Champion, will both head to Peru as part of the team.
“We feel great about this group representing the USA,” Rollins said. “We had about 150 student atheltes from all over the country expressing interest in this opportunity. As a staff, we looked at organizing the strongest team we could, knowing we were limited to three athletes per event. The fun part is we are also permitted B relays, plus mixed free and medley relays. There are lots of racing opportunities for everyone who’s attending.
“We couldn’t be more excited to represent Team USA in Peru this summer and not only have a great experience for all involved, but bring home a lot of medals for the Red, White, and Blue.
He’ll be supported by Team Lead Molly Hebzynski from Oakland University and assistant coaches Ryan Bubb from FAU, Lauren Sullivan from Arizona, and Antonio Nunez-Alvarez from FGCU. The team is also working on expanding the staff further now that the roster is set.

This is awesome! Love the opportunities provided. Who knows what could come from it.
just out of curiosity, how is a collegiate coach able to be selected to compete as well? Not an issue to me, more so like how did that work?
Who’s a coach? None of the names jumped out at me but I’m sure you’re right.
These international collegiate meets aren’t “NCAA” in the way that most Americans would view “college swimming.” Long before NIL, eligibility was not tied to amateurism or “years of eligibility” or any of that. The questions are: 1) are you a college student, and 2) are you a fast swimmer. Whatever else your circumstance may be is irrelevant to eligibility.
Is this the meet where each swimmer had to pay to go?
last year they did. Maybe USAS decided it was important this go round.
Probably not tbh. Or Team USA would’ve sent a roster of basically only power school members. The swimmers who get 6-8th at NCAAs.
Leyton Roe swims for Florida Atlantic University and is an Owl legend
men’s team not listed
Thanks, fixed.
