At the 2024 edition of the European Championships, the nation of Denmark placed 17th in the overall swimming medal table, capturing 5 pieces of hardware comprised of 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.
Individual medalists included Julie Kepp Jensen earning women’s 50m freestyle bronze, Clara Rybak-Andersen reaping women’s 200m breaststroke silver, Helena Rosendahl Bach capturing women’s 200m fly gold and the nation earning two relay medals.
These same women are set to take to the water this week, joined by many of their national record-holding peers. Martine Damborg holds the busiest schedule, with the 18-year-old European Junior Championships multi-gold medalist entered in the 50m/100m free/200m, 50m/100m fly and 50m back events.
