Penn junior Kate Levensten topped the second heat with a personal best time, taking one-third of a second off her previous best from December. She’s now successfully lowered her 200 back lifetime best time at every Ivy League Championships she’s competed at, and taken her time from 1:58.85 in 2023 to 1:56.37 in 2024, to sub 1:56.00.

In heat three, Yale’s Mabel Koff had a big swim, taking more than half a second off her seed time. She will be a swimmer to watch out for in tonight’s final. She’s been as fast as 1:54.79 before, which earned her 3rd place at the 2025 Ivy League Championships.

Lukinac won the 200 free last night and is showing no signs of slowing down today. She came within two-tenths of a second of her best time (48.53) from the 2024 Ivy League Championships. Sunwoo blasted the fastest first 50 in the field and took one-third of a second off her seed time to crack the top 2.

In heat five, Princeton senior Sabrina Johnston outswam the rest of the field to place 3rd, just half a second off her lifetime best that won this event at this meet back in 2024. Defending champion Kayla Fu of Penn is going into the finals seeded 5th.
