16YO Syunta Lee After First-Ever Pro Swim Win: “It makes me… I earn my spot in this sport”

Coming out of West Coast Aquatics, 16-year-old Syunta Lee earned his first career win at a Pro Swim, touching first in the 400 IM in Sacramento last weekend. Using a massive final 50 (28.43), the high schooler narrowly touched out Saint Petersburg’s Grant Sanders, 4:22.00 to 4:22.25. After the race, Lee said it made him notice that he earned his spot in the sport.
