Swim Job: Southwestern University seeks Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION

Southwestern University PIRATESSouthwestern University seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach. This is an entry-level position with coaching responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the administration of daily swimming and diving operations, recruitment, team training, home event management, practice organization, oversee lifeguard staff, and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Director of Athletics. This is a 9-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits.

REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. The successful candidate is expected to comply with departmental guidelines set forth by Southwestern University, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), and the NCAA Division III. Swimming and diving experience as an athlete and/or coach at the intercollegiate level is necessary.

SALARY

This is a 9-month, full-time, exempt position with benefits.
