Swim Job: Denison University Seeks Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach

Denison_LogoDenison University invites applications for the position of assistant men’s and women’s swimming coach. Denison University is an institution with a strong athletic tradition and competes in the NCAA Division III and the North Coast Athletic Conference. Assist head swimming coach with the daily operation of the swimming program and the recruitment of student-athletes.

Coaching duties include:

Monitoring preparation of athletic facilities for practice and meets, scouting opposing teams, developing and applying team rules, and assisting the head coach with team selection, practices, and meet management. Administrative duties include making team travel arrangements, monitoring academic progress of students, and supervising student workers.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree and a sound knowledge of collegiate swimming are required. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to coach student-athletes at the highest level. Candidates must have a current and valid driver’s license and must be insurable under Denison’s liability insurance policy. Prefer that candidates have successful intercollegiate swim coaching experience and proven experience in recruiting student athletes. FULL-TIME
