Jensen Morris of the Delaware Swim Team Verbally Commits to Towson Tigers

Breaststroker Jensen Morris from the Delaware Swim Team has verbally committed to the Towson Tigers.

I decided to swim for Towson University because of their intense training program and the great vibes I got from all of the men and women on the team,” Morris said of his decision. “I see myself excelling and enjoying myself in and
out of the water at Towson.”

Morris, who trains under coach Sean Dougherty, has lifetime bests of 59.81 and 2:09.92 in the 100 and 200 yard breaststrokes. He’ll join a deep Towson breaststroke group that along with William and Mary dominate the Colonial Athletic Association’s breaststroke scoring.

Morris’ big yards taper meet last year was the Tom Dolan Invitational in December, and at that meet he improved three-and-a-half seconds in his 100 yard breaststroke and eight seconds in his 200 yard breaststroke.

His secondary events include the 100 free (50.90) and the 200 IM (2:03.31).
