Natalie Daum of Aurora, Colorado has announced her commitment to continue her academic and athletic careers at LSU beginning in fall 2027.
Daum swims for University of Denver Hilltoppers and finaled in two events at Winter Juniors. There she finished 20th in the 100 breast with a 1:02.53 as well as 22nd in the 200 breast wiht a 2:16.21.
She just finished her junior season at Cherokee Trail High School and swam to a runner up finish at the CHSAA Girls 5A State Championships. She was 2nd in the 100 breast with a 1:03.41 as well as 4th in the 200 IM with a 2:06.22.
Daum’s SCY Times Are:
- 100 breast: 1:02.16
- 200 breast: 2:16.12
- 200 IM: 2:03.49
- 100 back: 56.21
The LSU women finished 5th out of 13 teams at the 2026 SEC Championships and went on to finish 21st at 2026 NCAAs. Michaela De Villiers led the team with 66 individual points at SECs and was highlighted by a 4th place finish in the 100 free with a 47.53.
It took a 1:01.35 in the 100 breast and a 2:12.62 in the 200 breast to earn a second swim at 2026 SECs. LSU notably had two ‘A’ finalists in the 200 breast with Grace Palmer finishing 4th in a 2:09.07 and Martina Bukvic finishing 5th in a 2:09.23.
Daum will arrive in fall 2027 as a member of the class of 2031 along with Angelina Lista and Joice Otero Rocha.
