The Greatest Swimming Instructor on Earth?

I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself. I had to post this.

I thought it was a joke, perhaps a character actor developing a role for a high-concept comedy, but this gentleman is utterly sincere.

It’s difficult not to judge, but there are different levels of swimming instruction, and this man is teaching viewers — from around the world — to remain afloat and propel themselves forward in the water…and for that, we sincerely thank him.

For the record, the truly “Greatest Swimming Instructor on Earth” is and always will be SNL’s Doug Frangelo. See video below.

“Want to compete at the Olympics? You’ve been smokin’ dream dust….”

If you find an interesting, odd and / or funny video, please share here or email to swimswam.com.

From the producer of the vimeo video:

Hello everybody !!!

During my last stay in India, I taught swimming to some of my friends. One day, some of my friends could not make it to the swimming pool. As I had my photo camera with me, I thought : why not film a little swimming class for those who are not here ?? It may be useful to them.

So, that’s how this little video came about. It explains breast stroke, inverted breast stroke, crawl, back crawl and diving, and gives some general hints on how to start to swim.

I hope this little video will be helpful to you and may maybe even accompany you in your first explorations of Water 😉 !!!

Enjoy and plenty of good aquatic energies to all of you !!!

Christoph

A very interesting thing is : Indians don’t learn to swim at school in general . So they can’t swim well at all . This guy had the good idea to show some Indian tourists how to swim the basics . Great initiative … I had that idea too that i will put in practice soon in the same South India region .
