VIDEO: Mic’d up with La Salle coach Jamie Platt

In the tradition of the NFL and other major sports, La Salle University put a microphone on assistant swim coach Jamie Platt for the team’s dual against Penn last weekend.

Platt’s “mic’d up” meet is highly entertaining, and will also sound eerily familiar to anyone who’s ever been involved in a coach-swimmer conversation at a swim meet.

There are the assurances about things coming together at taper time, the insistence that swimmers push themselves, and of course, some good-natured swim coach-style repartee with various athletes.
