Morgan Hansen broke the MAAC Record twice in the 100 fly. She first set the mark at 54.97 in prelims before lowering it to a 54.65 to repeat as champion.
Freshman Matt Lequang won the 500 free, posting his first best time in the event since 2018. His winning time of 4:25.94 was a best by a second and a half.
The Rider women opened the 2020 MAAC Championships with a new MAAC Record, taking down the 200 medley relay record by over a second.
The Rider University men’s swimming and diving team defeated visiting Lehigh, 180-118, while the Lehigh women picked up a 187-106 win.
