Swim teams can learn about the event at crazybigswim.com and register for the event through their TeamUnify team page. They simply create a Crazy Big Swim by adding a timed 50 freestyle to any existing practice or meet. Swimmers can compare their times with all the other participants nationally.

Swim Across America is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money to help fight cancer through swimming-related events. So it made sense for the organization to partner with TeamUnify, who strives to establish new standards for how swim teams manage themselves more effectively. Together, they are bringing the fight against cancer to the pool. With 25,000 swimmers participating, they will break the world record and each individual swimmer will make history.

Proceeds from the $25 per swimmer registration fee and Crazy Big Swim apparel will go towards SAA and benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

“This is an opportunity for the swimming community to ban together and make a difference by leveraging what they do everyday,” says President & CEO of Swim Across America, Janel Jorgensen McArdle. “The name says it all, Crazy Big Swim. We’re hoping to make a Crazy Big Impact on those affected by cancer everyday.”
