Grace Marsaa, a South Carolina high school state champion, has verbally committed to Queens University for the class of 2026.

Marsaa trains at South Carolina Swim Club where she recently swam at the Greensboro Futures Championships. Her highest finish came in the 50 breaststroke, where she touched in a new personal best 35.32 to finish 45th overall. She also picked up a new personal best time of 30.29 in the 50 fly.
She also attends Ashley Ridge High School where last year she was the 5A State Champion in the girls 100 breaststroke, touching in 1:04.96, and she won the bronze medal in the 50 free with her final time of 25.16.
Marsaa has seen significant improvements over the last four years, dropping three seconds in her 100 breaststroke (1:07.23 to 1:04.11) and a second in the 50 free (25.41 to 24.59) last season alone.

Queens University is a Division I school in North Carolina that competes as a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference. At the 2025 ASUN Championships, Queens finished 3rd overall, just over 45 points behind Florida Gulf Coast.
On last season’s Queens team, Marsaa would have been tied for 11th in the 50 free, 3rd in the 100 breast, and 4th in the 200 breast. She still has more than a year until she will swim her first meet for the Royals, and if she continues to improve at the same pace, she could be a conference point scorer by the time she arrives in Charlotte.
