The 2025 SEA Games trek on with more fast swimming in Thailand’s capital city. Today, Singapore’s women were on fire, earning three meet records.

For Letitia Sim, she added another SEA Games record to a number of marks she had already established in the first four days. Tonight, it came from the 200 breaststroke. The Ann Arbor based talent cleared the field by four seconds with a 2:27.37 meet record. This is well off her 2:24.15 national record but more than swift enough to top the podium decisively.

Of importance, the silver medalist was 13-year-old Pimchanok Chinveeraphan with a eye-popping 2:31.50. See our full article on Thailand’s newest age group star here.

The other two new Singaporean women meet records came in freestyle. First, 32-year-old Amanda Lim got .01 under the old splash-and-dash mark with a 25.03. The previous record belonged to Ting Wen Quah, who placed 4th tonight.

Finally, Gan Ching Hwee broke the 200 free meet record leading off Singapore’s 4×200 free relay. She registered a 1:59.10 for her nation, which ended up finishing 4th. Host nation Thailand took the pole position thanks to depth, coming in at 8:10.10. The winning members were Jinjutha Pholjamjumrus, Maria Nedelko, Kamonchanok Kwanmuang, and Napatsawan Jaritkla.

The men also had a relay today, with Singapore taking the top spot. 3:16.65 was the winning time, and Singaporeans Mikkel Lee (48.25) and Zheng Wen Quah (48.70) were the field’s lone 48 splitters.

The men’s individual events saw two men defend their titles but fall short of their own meet records. These men were Vietnam’s Thanh Bao Pham with a 2:12.81 200 breaststroke and Singapore’s Tzen Wei Teong with a 23.24 50 butterfly. Their records stand at 2:11.45 and 23.04, respectively.
