For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Sectionals finalist Cam Kellogg has announced her commitment to swim for the University of North Florida beginning in the fall of 2025.
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of North Florida. This would not be possible without the blessings of God! Thank you to everyone who has supported me, including my family, friends, coaches, and teammates. I would especially like to thank the coaching staff at UNF for this incredible opportunity. I cannot wait to be a part of the @ospreysswim family! Go Ospreys #swoop”
The Texas native recently graduated from Samuel V. Champion High School, where she was a member of the varsity swimming team for the past three years. Kellogg currently swims year-round with Streamline Aquatics; a versatile threat in the water, she primarily specializes in fly and IM but is adept at all four strokes.
At the 2025 Speedo Sectionals – Justin (SCY), Kellogg turned in a series of strong performances. She earned a second swim in the 200 fly, placing 40th in 2:16.31 after swimming a season-best of 2:14.37 during prelims. She turned in a season-best in the 100 breast (1:09.00), as well as the 100 back (1:00.33) and 100 free (55.67) thanks to her performances as the leadoff leg on both the 400 medley and 400 free relays. Kellogg also raced the 200 breast (2:28.13), 200 IM (2:11.77) and 400 IM (4:40.67).
Kellogg set a pair of personal best times at the UIL Region VII-5A Championships back in February. She placed 3rd in the 200 IM in a lifetime best 2:07.62 and placed 5th in the 100 fly in 58.57 after setting a best time of 58.54 during prelims. Kellogg also helped her team to victory in both the 400 free relay and 200 medley relay.
Additionally, Kellogg is a three-time Texas state champion. This past season, she was a part of Samuel V. Champion’s winning 400 free and 200 medley relays; she split 53.35 as the third leg on the freestyle relay and 25.91 as the butterfly leg on the medley relay. Kellogg and her team also won the 200 medley relay at the 2024 UIL 5A State Championships, where she split 26.04 on the fly leg.
Best Times SCY
- 100 fly – 58.54
- 200 fly – 2:11.90
- 200 IM – 2:07.62
- 400 IM – 4:34.26
A Division I Mid-Major program, UNF competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference, where the women’s team took 5th out of nine teams at the 2025 ASUN Championships. To make it back to the ‘B’ final this past season, it took times of 57.53/2:09.72 in the 100/200 fly and 2:05.97/4:32.88 in the 200/400 IM, putting Kellogg outside the cutoff in each of her top events.
On the team itself, Kellogg is poised to rank 3rd in the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM and 5th in the 100 fly, setting her up to be a strong contributor for the Ospreys, although that does not account for the other incoming freshmen.
Joining Kellogg in Jacksonville in the fall will be Brooke Bourn (free/back/fly/IM), Grace Burton (free/breast/IM), Kendall Hudgens (breast/IM), Sadie Jahn (free/fly), Skyler Jansen (free), Peyton Loving (free/breast) and LC Smith (free/back), who should all make for strong training partners over the next four years.
