Rutgers Swimming Inks 5 to 2015-2016 Roster

The Rutgers swimming and diving team has signed five to National Letters of Intent to begin competing for the Scarlet Knights in 2015-16, head coach Phil Spiniello announced. The signees include Marin Bloise (Malvern, Pa.), Rachel Bryne (Bedford, N.H.), Morgan Perrotti (Palm Harbor, Fla. ), Abby Saunders (Oakville, Ontario) and Cynthia Wu (Princeton, N.J.).

Notes: Six-year varsity letterwinner for Agnes Irwin after joining the team in 7th grade … the diver placed within the top six in all five years at the Eastern Swimming Diving Championships, earning the title in 2014 … InterAcademc league diving champion for three consecutive seasons (2012-2014) … All-Delaware County female diving champion in the years 2012 and 2014 … 12-year member of West Chester Diving, where she was a three-time zone qualifier and national qualifier in her respective age group …in addition to swimming, participated in four years of varsity track & field, three years of soccer and two of cross country … served as captain of the track & field team in 2012 and 2013 … holds the school record for the 300m hurdles, 100m hurdles, long jump and 200m dash … received high academic honors as a junior … born on September 6, 1996 … daughter of Vincent and Grace Bloise … intends to major in kinesiology.
