Rio Torch Relay Day 60: Foz Do Iguaçu

On each day of the official Olympic torch relay, carrying the Olympic flame to the Olympic cauldron in Rio de Janeiro, the Rio2016 Facbeook page is posting brilliant and spectacular images from one of the world’s unique and most beautiful landscapes. Each day until August 5th, we will bring you these stunning images.

On day 60 the torch relay continued its journey through Paraná, visiting the city of Foz Do Iguaçu. Foz Do Iguaçu is seventh largest city in the state, bordering Iguaçu Falls. The city has a population of about 265,000. The Iguaçu Falls are located right on the border of Brazil and Argentina.
