Princeton Class of 2029 Loads Up on Diving Talent

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Princeton has landed a pair of accomplished divers, American Chase Sorosky and Croatian Luka Martinovic, in its upcoming freshman class.

Sorosky was ranked as the 7th-best male diving recruit in our top 10 diving recruits in the class of 2025. The Phoenix Country Day School valedictorian holds the Arizona state record in the 1-meter diving event (11 dives) at 683.75, breaking the 15-year-old record of 574.75.

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admission process at Princeton University. Thank you to my family, coaches, and friends for supporting me in this journey. Go Tigers! 🐅

The 2025 All-American is a 10-time Junior National finalist and a three-time AIA Division III State Champion (2021, 2022, 2024).

Chase Sorosky’s Best Scores (6 Dives)

  • 1 meter- 566.65
  • 3 meter- 545.60

Martinović joins the Tigers having already represented Croatia on the international stage. He competed at the 2024 World Junior Diving Championships in Rio, where he won bronze in the men’s 3m Synchronized Diving event.

I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to the admission process at Princeton University. I want to thank my family, Coach Marina, and friends for supporting me in this journey. A special thank you to Coach Ted for this amazing opportunity!

Go Tigers! 🐅

Recently, Martinović competed at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, finishing 16th in the 3-meter event (337.44).

Luka Martinović’s Best Scores (6 Dives)

  • 1 meter- 406.35
  • 3 meter- 397.15

The Princeton men took home the team title at the 2025 Ivy League Swimming and Diving Championships. Princeton put three divers into the championship final in both the 1-meter and the 3-meter. Aidan Wang, who will be entering his junior year with the Tigers, took gold in the 1-meter and 2nd in the 3-meter at those championships. Wang also competed at the 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, where he finished 38th in the 1-meter and 23rd in the 3-meter.

Sorosky and Martinović are the lone freshman divers for the Tigers in 2025.

Hopefully all divers will go to the Ivy League. Perhaps then Swimming and Diving will be separated at the NCAAs?

Speaking of PUCSDT, what’s going on with the women’s team? Another assistant coach resigning two weeks before kids are back in town…. Wild

Did Kelsey Reott resign? I still see her listed as a coach on PWSD site. I don’t see E. Adams.?

What do you mean by “another assistant coach”? Who was the first to resign?

If true, 3 years at Bucknell, 1 at Pitt and now 2 at Princeton. Kelsey moving on looks like it may have more to do with her (e.g., climbing the ladder as fast as possible) than Princeton. It’ll be interesting to see where she lands and who replaces her…
