Michael Phelps to appear on USA Network’s ‘Suits’ in March, screenshot surfaces on Twitter

Michael Phelps is back in the news, and this time it has nothing to do with his potential comeback in the swimming pool.

The most decorated Olympian of all-time will make a television appearance on the USA drama Suits when the show returns from its midseason hiatus on March 6, according to USA Today.

You can read the USA Today piece for more details on Phelps’ scene, but the swimmer will be playing himself, just as he has in the past on Saturday Night Live and Entourage, though this appearance will have more lines than his quick cameo on Entourage.

NBC Sports writer Nick Zaccardi tweeted out a screenshot of Phelps’ appearance on Tuesday:

We’ll see on March 6 how Phelps does with his lines (Suits star Gabriel Macht was quite complimentary in USA Today), and we may have to wait just a bit longer to find out if Phelps’ appearance on Suits after an extended break for the show is foreshadowing a return by Phelps to the competition pool after an extended break of his own.
