QUOTABLE
Head coach Ellie Monobe said: “I’m very proud of how the Waves wrapped up the regular season at home. We knew from the beginning that we had a tough schedule this year and a lot of opponents that we have never seen. Finishing the season on this high note for our seniors was the best way we could have wrapped things up. Standouts today were Lexi Haymart who won the 1000 against a strong and deep freestyle group that APU has. Freshman AJ Adams had a stellar comeback after a rough winter training tennis block. I also have to give a huge credit to our seniors who were able to finish on such a high note. Watching how we attacked our races – keeping our details nice and clean – we will be ready in the next couple of weeks and I’m very confident in this program to defend our PCSC title. We look forward to fast swimming in about a week and a half.”
