An assistant swim coach at a Pennsylvania community association has been jailed after admitting to engaging in sexual acts with two teenage girls.
Sean Richard Boasi has been charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors and indecent assault, according to the Scranton Times-Tribune.
According to the Times-Tribune, a girl accused Boasi of kissing her and touching her over her swim suit over the summer. The girl was 14 years old at the time of the incident.
That led to an investigation of Boasi, who coached at Birchwood Lake Estates, according to the Pocono Record. During the investigation, a second girl came forward to accuse Boasi of engaging in sexual acts with her several summers ago, when she was 15 years old.
The sexual contact happened multiple times, according to the Pocono Record, usually happening in Boasi’s car at various places in the local community.
The Times-Tribune reports that Boasi admitted to the sex acts earlier this month, and also admitted to sending one of the girls an inappropriate photo.
The 24-year-old Boasi is now in the Pike County Correctional Facility awaiting a preliminary hearing that will happen next month.
