Ally McHugh, Penn State

Sr. – Philadelphia, Pa. – Little Flower Catholic

  • Earned Penn States’ lone event victory against No. 7 Virginia last weekend in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 9:52.54
  • Recorded a second-place finish in the 500 freestyle (4:51.32) and third place in the 200 butterfly (2:02.28)
  • Earns her first career Swimmer of the Week honor
  • Last Penn State of the Week: Maddie Hart (Feb. 7, 2018)

Diver of the Week

Christina Crowell, Penn State

Jr. – Bedford Hills, N.Y. – Fox Lane

  • Neared an NCAA Zone Championship qualifying score with her 261.45 second place finish in the 1-meter against No. 7 Virginia last weekend
  • Finished third in the 3-meter with a score of 266.03
  • Earns her first Diver of the Week decoration
  • Last Penn State Diver of the Week: Mackenzie Cornell (Feb. 8, 2017)

Freshman of the Week

Madison Murtagh, Penn State

Longwood, Fla. – Lake Brantley

  • Finished second in the 1,000 freestyle (10:06.67) against No. 7 Virginia last weekend
  • Earned a third-place finish with her 4:55.53 finishing time in the 500 freestyle
  • Earns her first career Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Penn State Freshman of the Week: Jane Donahue (Oct. 18, 2017)
